Your payment is only released to the chef by our platform after they have satisfactorily served to your event. You will receive a request for review and feedback via email.
Once you've booked your experience (existing menu or custom request), we will reach out to gather and organize any additional clarity needed for your chef. From there, you will receive a personalized menu based on any additional preferences, dietary needs, and event details. Chefs source quality, ethically sourced, fresh ingredients, arrive 30min-3hrs prior to your booking (depending on the experience booked) to prep and cook in your kitchen using some of your existing tools and they'll also bring what they need to cook, and leave it cleaner than they found it.
Your chef will likely use some of your equipment and cooking tools, and will handle all ingredient sourcing and bring any necessary specialized equipment need to cook. Chef use your kitchen to ensure meals are freshly prepared and keep the experience interactive, all we ask is that you leave the kitchen clean for chef to get straight to work with a tidy workspace when they arrive.
Absolutely! Personalization is at the heart of what we do.
We require at least 7 days’ notice for cancellations to avoid a fee. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a charge equivalent to 50% of the service fee. This policy ensures the chefs' schedules are respected along with costs incurred for ingredients.
